Valerie Nasser, Military Liaison for Craven County Schools
The mission of the Military Liaison Counselor is to research, develop, and implement programs and practices that will support the military students and families in Craven County Schools. Our liaison works in partnership with Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and our area schools and provide outreach services to families as they transition in/out of Craven County Schools.
MFLC
Due to the unique challenges faced by military families, the Department of Defense employs Military Family Life Counselors. These counselors provide non-medical counseling services to Service members and their families.
AWE is fortunate to have our very own Military Family Life Counselor on staff full-time!
